Natural burial is a way of caring for the dead with minimal environmental impact. The body returns naturally to the earth. Please click on the image to learn more about Peaceful Meadows.

Peaceful Meadows at Saratoga Springs
     Plans are underway to improve the beauty of Peaceful Meadows at Saratoga Springs, the all natural section established two years ago at St.
Peter’s Cemetery .
 The following shrubs will be included in the landscaping this spring:  Winterberry Holly, Flowering Quince, Spirea, American  Beautyberry and Glossy Abelia. The following perennials will also be included:  Purple Cone flower, Creeping Phlox, Black Eyed Susan, Autumn Joy Sedum, Iris, Daylily, Yarrow, Silver Artemisia, Rosemary, Nepeta, Thyme, Lavender, Sage, Snow in Summer, Daffodil Bulbs.
     If you come across any of these shrubs/plants in your springtime gardening ventures and would like to include in them in the Peaceful Meadows landscaping, please bring them to the Rectory during office hours. (584-2375)

As work on the repainting of the fence continues, we are also beginning the planting and landscaping of the Natural Burial section of the cemetery.....
